Giving up on Palladium

Tue May 5, 2009, 5:05 PM
Ok so I got to thinking the other day when I noticed the latest Rifter cover used heavy Poser/Daz Studio content in it. I like the guy who did the cover and I've chatted with him on their forums a few years back a bit. He's got talent and I like some of his visions.

But I'm no slouch either comparatively. I submitted the following to them awhile back.

I like how they came out, especially the 'Dbee this' image.

March of 2006. 3 years ago.

I even called them and spoke to someone who told me I would have a call back as soon as the guy was available. I forget the guy's name and it doesn't matter now anyways.

I've been in the customer service field for several years now. I make no bones about the fact that I rock when it comes to customer service. I make it my goal to know everything I possibly can about my role and knock each call out of the ballpark. I've done it, I've trained others to it, I've even been a quality monitor and developed reports towards it.

3 years doesn't cut it for me. I don't expect them to be at my beck and call, not in the least. That's just stupid to even assume. But never once hearing a word, even when I probed personally? That's too bad.

Due to the agreements I had to sign I cannot use those three images for anything except just for show. But that is all Palladium will ever get from me anymore.

It's too bad. I'd have been jazzed to have only one of them used. Or even a follow up for that matter.

I used several sets of Oola lekku from Phil C's Oola character and then posted the hell out of them. Then I made some textures to fit. Took a while, but was worth it, I think.
