Coppercon is around the corner

Journal Entry: Sun Aug 7, 2005, 11:47 AM
Well I'm getting geared up for CopperCon 25 which is only about a month away. I'm hoping we have some out of town visitors but at this point I've heard little to nothing.

So here's to nothing! :)

The Con itself looks like it's going to be good though and I'm going to try and be on a few of the panels. So if anyone here actually goes, look for me there too.

City of Heroes issue 3, look for me!

Deviartart scores two local hometown heroes as Veikira scores yet another art piece into the annals of City of Heroes fame, and newcomer ProphetX (aka me) lands his first.

I'm STOKED!

I got my issue today, read and loved it (though the art isn't keeping up). And so I'm surfing to the back and notice one of the guys I play with in the CCCP (the founder Steve Libby) has some fan fiction listed in the ish.

"Figures...." I say to myself since he's been on this big comic book push ever since he paid to have his own done.

So I flip to the back and scope out the images by Veikira and Jonathan Alexander Rector and I'm like "ooooo smooth" and completely miss whats below them.

So I look one image down and I jump out of my seat.

HOLY CRAP!

I yell as my wife comes to see whats wrong. And I point to Warwitch and say "thats me!!!!!!"

So yes. I finally have landed a spot in comic-book geekdom. At age 30.

So if you pick up the City of Heroes comic book and/or you play the game, look for me in the back with my rendered image of Warwitch!

You must come. The live action Vampire:the Masquerade game is going to run a two night event during CopperCon.

It's going to be awesome. They've already been extremely nice to me in getting this set up. And even if you don't like 'vampire' come anyways and enjoy the Con and maybe get talked into playing a non player character :)

To print or not to print

Insert Classy Header Here

Ok so I'm sitting at work pondering a statement posed to me last night.

"...I pay to have him render one of my characters!"

Umm..wow...

So needless to say I'm sort of stuck. I don't want to invest a lot of time into designing quality prints only to have them sit. But at the same time, if enough people want em, why the heck not?
